New requirements for employers in Moscow

On April 4, 2020, the Mayor of Moscow adopted a new Decree No. 39-UM, which introduces mandatory requirements for employers to comply with measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (hereinafter referred to as the "Decree").

In accordance with the Decree, organizations and individual entrepreneurs, in respect of which citizens have not been banned from visiting them, are required to provide information:
on the number of employees who are and are not subject to transfer to remote work, and who have a non-working day with salary retention;
about the types of activities carried out and the place of its implementation (indicating the corresponding address code from the Federal Information Address System).
This information must be sent to the email address  organization_size@mos.ru#nbsp ;in the form according to Appendix 3 to the Decree. Consultations on the submission of the specified information can be obtained by phone +7(495)870-72-98.

In accordance with the information received by the above phone number, this information must be provided if the organization has employees who continue to work outside the home. If all employees of the organization have been transferred to remote work, no information is required to be submitted.
