Unscheduled migration checks of companies

We have received unverified information that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is discussing the possibility of conducting mass unscheduled inspections in order to control the activities of employers who attract foreign labor, including to identify foreign workers who do not have a valid certificate of absence of HIV infection.

We remind you that in accordance with the amendments to Federal Law No. 115-FZ of 25.07.2002, any foreign citizen (including VKS) who arrived on the territory of the Russian Federation for the purpose of carrying out work is required to have a certificate of absence of HIV infection. The validity period of such a certificate is 3 months from the date of medical examination.

In this regard, we strongly recommend checking on a regular basis whether foreign citizens who work in your organization have a valid certificate of absence of a disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV infection), in order to avoid the risks of cancellation of a work permit, patent, temporary residence permit.
