Simplified requirements for documents required for the issuance of PHP

On April 10, 2021, the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation No. 99 of 02.03.2021 came into force, according to which the requirements for certain categories of citizens to provide documents within the framework of issuing work permits (hereinafter referred to as the "RNR") to foreign citizens and stateless persons were simplified.

For issuing and extending the validity period of the PHP:
highly qualified specialists (VKS),
foreign citizens sent to work in a foreign commercial organization on the territory of the Russian Federation, 
notarization of copies of documents certifying the identity of foreign citizens and recognized by the Russian Federation in this capacity is no longer required.

Copies of other documents that are not notarized are still submitted with the presentation of the original.
