The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation approved the form of notification of the departure of a foreign citizen and the procedure for its submission

On July 28, the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation No. 142 of 18.03.2019 comes into force, approving the form of notification of the departure of a foreign citizen or stateless person from the place of stay, the list of information contained in it, the requirements for its registration, as well as the procedure for sending it to the migration registration authority.

The approved notification form contains information about the foreign citizen to be removed from the register, and the place of his stay, as well as information about the receiving party. At the same time, if the receiving party is a legal entity, the personal data of its representative is indicated in the notification.

Notification of the departure of a foreign citizen can be submitted to the migration department of the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, through the MFC or by mail.

Please note that notification must be sent without fail:
upon departure of a foreign citizen from a hotel, sanatorium, holiday home, etc. - no later than twelve o'clock on the day following the day of departure;
upon departure of a foreign citizen from the organization in which he carries out work in a shift mode and at the address of which he is registered at the place of stay - no later than 7 working days from the date of departure.
In all other cases, sending a notification of the departure of a foreign citizen to the migration registration authority is the right of the receiving party, and not an obligation.
